mission statement
Welcome to REBELITERATURE! You have come to the latest content platform for the poet Aindriú ÓDomhnaill. It is an interactive space with a vanguard attitude to literature, literary history, and history more generally. No longer is literature tamed to post-modern or philosophically liberal principles, or even conventionally modernist literary principles.
REBELITERATURE is also a study and discussion space that allows the viewer to both learn more about the world, culturally, philosophically, mythologically, conspiratorially, metaphysically, spiritually etc… but also to create literary projects on new, often politically incorrect, but also culturally traditionalist principles. These adhere to ancient European standards, while also not shying away from contentious matters of scientific innovation, physics and cosmology. The goal of all this study is the re-assertion of the Western cultural will interrupted by the degradation ostensibly inflicted on it since the beginnings of the two world wars of the 20th century. Think paganism, early Celtic Christianity, the medieval Troubadour tradition, Pre-Renaissance Art, Baroque Music, Gothic architectural innovations, and Futurist literature and art…!
At the REBELITERATURE website you will find all the content that ÓDomhnaill put out, in print, and on the internet from 2008 up to the present. Here you have ÓDomhnaill’s first pamphlet ‘Duo Mille Quinque/MMV’ in facsimile pdf format. Under his editorship The Fiend journal ran from 2010 – 2017, and is here in all its retro glory, yet this time you will ultimately have it available in multiple chapbook formats that can be downloaded as a series of pdfs. There are also links to new essays and articles also downloadable in pdf.
REBELITERATURE is also the home for its sister publisher Open Season Press, a literary publisher in the mould of projects like Antelope Hill, Clemens and Blair, Arktos, and Imperium Press. Open Season prints ÓDomhnaill’s books as well as running R Magazine; the new print journal update on The Fiend, with calls for submissions beginning 2027.
Beyond these pdf and print projects you will also find podcasts and video pieces dating back to 2020, with much parallel output mirrored on rumble and youtube. For subscribers, sections of writing, including notebook facsimile poems are available in download format. And for those who wish to chat forums for conversation will also be made available soon.
